SocialHub is operated for LOLA media to manage authorised social-media accounts and publish reviewed editorial content. LOLA media is part of LOLA ZOE Streekmedia, the regional news publisher for Lansingerland and Zoetermeer.

Information we process

When an authorised administrator connects a social account, SocialHub may process the account identifier, display name, OAuth access and refresh tokens, granted permissions and token expiry information supplied by the platform. It also processes editorial content, publication status, provider post identifiers and limited operational and security logs.

Connected platforms

SocialHub can connect to Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, Bluesky, Mastodon, Discord, Pixelfed and Reddit. Each connection reaches only the accounts, pages or channels that an authorised administrator chooses.

For Reddit, SocialHub uses only LOLA media’s own Reddit account. It submits link posts to LOLA media articles after an editor has approved each post, can delete those posts, and reads back the score and comment count of its own posts. It does not read, collect or store posts, comments or personal information of other Reddit users, and Reddit data is not used to train AI models or shared with third parties.

How information is used

This information is used only to authenticate authorised accounts, publish and manage approved LOLA media content, prevent duplicate publication, diagnose failures and maintain an audit trail. SocialHub does not sell personal information or use connected-platform data for advertising.

Storage and sharing

Credentials are stored encrypted and access is restricted to authorised operators. Information is shared only with the connected social platform when required to perform an authorised action, or when disclosure is legally required.

Retention and deletion

Credentials are retained while the connection is active and are removed or revoked when the connection is withdrawn. Operational records are retained only as long as needed for security, accountability and legal obligations. A platform connection can also be revoked through the platform’s own account settings.
